This past Saturday, we went to a Twins vs. Tigers game with our high school youth group! The kids have been wanting to go to a game, but with summer being so busy, it is hard to find a timeframe that works for most. We thought that the end of summer would be a good time and it JUST so happened that the Tigers were in town! Woohoo! Of course I don’t have much to brag about as they lost the first game in the series 20-6, then the game we saw 12-4. But the Tigers came back and won the next 2 (thankfully).
It was supposed to be in the mid-80s, but it was actually rather chilly up in the nosebleeds! We didn’t need our winter coats (like we did the last time), but the wind definitely sent a chill through our bones! It was an action-packed game, which made it that much more interesting!
Hanging out with the girls
Even though we had nosebleed seats in the family section, I could still zoom in on my camera to take a look at the good ole Tigers!
Ian Kinsler. It was odd not seeing Austin Jackson there!
The stands were a tad empty, but it didn’t take away from a great day for baseball!
We have our youth group kickoff next Wednesday! It’s hard to believe the youth group season is here already, but we are pumped! One full year under the belt, and another year to look forward to!
