This week I want to share some of my favorite bathroom products. I am not really a “product” girl, so don’t be fooled! When it comes to doing my hair and make-up, I’m a pretty simple gal. Nevertheless, here are a few things that I use on a daily basis, that complete my bathroom routine!
Listerine Total Care Anticavity Mouthwash – When I was at the dentist last, I was encouraged to use a mouthwash. I remember doing the lovely fluoride swishes at school back in the day, but really haven’t used mouthwash since. I must say, I have loved getting into that routine again! Even though it burns a bit (is it supposed to?) I love the feeling afterwards! I feel like after brushing, this is just the icing on the cake. Literally. My teeth feel so smooth after. What I like about this mouthwash (I also have used the off-brand like Meijer), is that it kills germs that cause bad breath, strengthens teeth, helps prevent cavities, restores enamel, cleans your mouth, and freshens the breath. A winner in my book!
Colgate Total Toothpaste – My favorite go-to toothpaste is definitely the Colgate Total. I guess I got sucked into what the dentists recommended. I figure it’s not the company that got me into it, but the multiple recommendations by the dentists. They know best, right? It prevents stains, whitens, fights germs, prevents cavities, gingivitis, plaque, and of course, freshens the breath.
Vince Camuto Eau de Parfum rollerball, Bella, 0.2 Fl Oz – A friend of mine once bought this perfume for me and I fell in love with it!!! It’s an easy roll on, which I love, but it’s not overly potent. It has a very clean, feminine, and fresh smell. Not sure how you describe “scents,” but trust me on this one – it smells so good!!
Aussie Mega Hairspray – I am not sure this is a good reason to use this hairspray, but I purely use it for the smell. For some reason, I just LOVE the Aussie smell! I use their flexible hold hairspray and it does what I need it to do. I haven’t really tried other hairsprays, so I’m always open to suggestions, but this one seems to work for me and so I’ve stuck with it for YEARS!
Vaseline Petroleum Jelly – I often have dry lips and instead of using chapstick, I like using petroleum jelly. Maybe sounds weird, but I love it! Though what I love even more about petroleum jelly is that you can use it for many other things too: removes eye make up (without drying out the skin around your eyes by rubbing the bajeebers out of them), moisturizes and protects skin, removes make-up stains from clothing, and NUMEROUS other uses! A keeper in my cupboard, that’s for sure!
