  4. I found your blog and read your post Joy of smaller home living. It made me smile and laugh. I am living that dream. We live in about 900 square feet and we did have 5 of us, my daughter and granddaughter have moved out, but still. I've been organizing and cleaning since Christmas. My one thing to post-Cleaning out my closet. I will never be that skinny again, and if I am will those clothes be in style. That's my starting point.

    1. That is AWESOME that you are living that dream! 900 sq. ft. isn't much room with 5 – that is great! I am proud of you that you started somewhere – many don't even get to that point :)! Cleaning out the closet is one of the best places to start because it can clear out SO much excess. Thanks for commenting Maddie and for sharing!

  5. Having a place for everything is a not a simple step at all for me! BUT it is an invaluable one. This is a great tip and one I'm going to work on throughout the year. (I'm also working on PUTTING things in their places after I'm done with them! 🙂 )

    1. Tenukii, I struggle with that too – using something and NOT putting it away! Trust me, I don't have it altogether either :). That makes two of us and what a good place to start!

  6. toy organization and how to store/ get rid of toys when you are planning for more children. Seems silly to sell, baby stuff if we are trying to have a baby. Is that just me… help toys are taking over my home!

    1. I have had others who also want to hear some tips on how to deal with the clutter of toys! I will definitely have to do some posts on that coming up (after my January series :)). Thanks for sharing!

    1. I am thankful you stopped by Jenna! I used to think that I needed to buy the "perfect" organizing system, when in reality, all I needed to do was get rid of STUFF. So I like your idea of organizing without having to buy expensive things 🙂
