We have embarked on our second journey to Michigan!
I was looking forward to spending some quality time with family and friends, which of course never disappoints! Here is a bit of what our trip has looked like:
Bless Mazy’s heart – we started the journey right after she got her 4 month shots. We only had one crying spree, which you could tell she was in pain, but other than that, she was again a super trooper!

We happened upon some crazy weather in Illinois, but a rainbow in the far right, was a reminder of really who is in control. And it made me wonder how many rainbows God decided to create that day around the world – ever think about that?

It rained a bit hard, to say the least!

Mazy got to hang out with her cousins again! I was couldn’t wait for her to see them!

Mazy is starting to love her “backpack” carrier!

A trip to Michigan always means a trip to visit our dear friends, the Vriezemas. This picture brings tears to my eyes, as the woman who carried our 2 babies who now reside in heaven, now holds our little earthly baby, Mazy Grace. That picture says so much about the journey, yet so much about God’s grace. A relationship that is unexplainable.

Someone is a little proud that she can stand up by furniture!

Forget the drool…look at what I can do!

That smile, just makes any worry fly out the door!

Mazy always smiles with her mouth wide open – a sign of life being enjoyed.

She still loves her animal book!

Meeting great grandma!

Mazy sure loves her aunties!

And her cousins (and as you can see, her cousins sure love her!)

Mommy, forget using my hands, I can now grab things with my feet!

Oh girlie…

Those big blue eyes are sure going to get US in trouble! How can you say “no” to her, EVER?

Playing with Grandpa

Mazy takes a little while to wake up in the mornings, but oh how I love that! Snuggles it is!

Hanging out with my girl

This week, Dan is here with our youth group from Minnesota, doing projects in Benton Harbor! I hope to share pictures of their experiences eventually as well.
