Dan and I both grew up with pets, but unfortunately I do not have many pictures OF our pets. I grew up with cats, a dog, and I suppose you could say cows :). We got two cats from my aunt and uncle when we were young (Mickey & Minnie) and they ended up having 2 kittens. By the time it was said and done, we only really ended up with Mickey b/c the others ran away. Then Mickey disappeared and we got another one – Rahjah – we found him in a tree in our yard. But we also had a dog, Coco. Oh that dog was SO CUTE! We had him for maybe 11-12 years. He was an English Springer Spaniel – just adorable. He was our buddy growing up! Then the farm! Of course we had our fair share of cats there (we used to feed them milk with shots – obviously w/out the needle). And the cows themselves! Oh, and a farm dog.

Dan’s parents bred golden retreivers so at any given time he had MANY dogs in his house :). This is a picture of his favorite golden, Caz, who died just a couple of years ago. He cried like a baby when he died!
Not that we have any fish as pets, but I suppose we like fish. This picture was taken in college – me and a friend caught this HUGE pike!
Dan and I do not have any pets ourselves. We used to have a gold fish that lived for many years (surprisingly b/c it was a Meijer fish). It traveled many miles with me to and from college and then to St. Joe. For some reason it would jump out of it’s bowl and we would find it laying on the kitchen table. One time we found him on the table and we literally had to PEEL him off – his scales were left on the table. He was swimming sideways when we put him back in and he was all discolored. I think he died like 3 days later. That fish was quite entertaining to say the least!
