Hey Friends, if you’ve been following me recentl Hey Friends, if you’ve been following me recently, you’ve noticed here and on my blog that I’ve been sharing about our “better” choices we’ve made over the past few years. Let me reiterate that. The past few YEARS. I’ve had several conversations since, and I just want to encourage you. If you’ve been following along and are looking to make changes in your life, start with ONE change. One small swap. One small decision. One small step. Don’t go for the whole enchilada! Your desire for better will keep you going. It’s a process and you know what? We will never arrive at perfect! You just have to find what’s right for YOUR family. And I want you to know you’re not alone. This is why I share what we’ve learned because all of this, at one time, DID NOW KNOW! And this also isn’t for everyone. This is just the journey we are on and felt the prompting to share. I’m imperfect FAR beyond my food choices. Always learning. Always humbled. Always running back to the cross everyday. This is just one small step. Give yourself some grace.

I have had moments in the my faith journey when I I have had moments in the my faith journey when I have wondered, “Where are you, God? Do you see what’s happening? Why do you feel so distant?” Maybe you can relate as well. Many times in my life, I’ve struggled to pick up my devotional or Bible because I didn’t like what God allowed (like cancer, heart failure…), didn’t agree with it, and ultimately it was ME, not choosing to feel His presence. It wasn’t God who was absent or distant, it was ME. It was me not TRUSTING GOD. God was there the whole time, waiting with open arms, but I wasn’t choosing to run to him. I don’t know about you, but I want to THRIVE in this life. But in order to do that, I need to embrace Him in HIS will, not mine. I need to TRUST in His will, and not mine. It’s hard to be disheartened with our circumstances when we are grateful. Grateful for God’s presence, grateful for His provision, and grateful for His love. In pursuing God, we get out what we put in. Just like a relationship – when someone feels distant, we make that phone call to reconnect. God is no different! The only difference is that he has always been holding the phone, He’s just waiting for us to pick it up again.

See God’s salvation plan, wrought in love, Borne in pain, paid in sacrifice, Fulfilled in Christ, the Man, for He lives, Christ is risen from the dead! HE HAS RISEN INDEED!
