20 Days, 3 Ways, __ Bags: Pots and Pans
Are your pots and pans out of control? Do you have so many that either they fall out of the cupboard when you try to pull one out, or do they get scratched because you have them so tightly stored? Pots and pans are easy items to have too many of. Have you ever considered really considering how many of them you actually use? Time to fill up those bags once again and get rid of some pots and pans!
1. Pull them all out.
2. Ask yourself:
- How many of them do I use at ONE time? The reason this is such an important question is because sometimes we have more than one of the same pot – in reality though, how often do you use ALL of your pots at once?
- Same with your pans (9x13s for example). How many of them are just sitting in your cupboards, waiting to be used?
- How many muffin pans, pizza pans, or cookie sheets do you need?
3. If your non-stick pans are flaking or peeling, get rid of them – what is “missing,” you probably ate! How disheartening, right? If they are too used to donate, recycle or pitch them!
4. The best way to fill up those bags? Fill them with the excess – the pans that you have never touched. The pans that you know will continue to just sit there. I can guarantee you that you do NOT use them all at the same time. Whatever you don’t use, fill up those bags with them.
Pots and pans are tricky because we THINK we will use them one day, but that day never comes. Don’t let your mind trick you into thinking otherwise! Take care of the clutter today!
