How Do You Organize Your Digital Photos?
I take a lot of pictures. I mean a LOT.
Thanks to being a blogger and doing an “Around The Home” post every week, I take pictures throughout the week, to document what our weeks look like. In doing so, that means I have numerous pictures from just one week. Times that by 52 and we are talking about, like I said, A LOT of pictures.
I have always wrestled a bit with how to organize my digital photos because I have so many. Also, now with Mazy, I am always wondering if I should have two “folders” of pictures – one with all her photos and one that is dated by month for us. I currently save all of our digital pics on a large thumb drive and I make a digital scrapbook through Blurb (which I HIGHLY recommend). Blurb is the EASIEST way to organize a large amount of digital photos and with their coupon codes, it is hard to beat their pricing!
I used to be a scrapbooker and printed all of my pictures to put into the scrapbooks, but I found after having Mazy, I just did not have the time for it anymore, hence why I switched to digital scrapbooks!
I am in the process of reorganizing this year’s photos, so I would love to hear how YOU organize your digitial photos! How do you store them? Do you still print pictures? Have you gotten rid of the idea of organizing them altogether?
I need some suggestions…
