Day 3 : Cards

What: Cds Why: Hard to believe that cds are becoming a thing of the past since itunes, ipods, iphones – you name the “i” – came on the scene. Though all the “i’s” are taking over, cds are not completely out of the scene yet. As a result, they are something that still needs to be…
Are you ready to start adding some social events to your planner? I know I am! Even though it is nice to have an open calendar at times, I firmly believe we were also created to be in community. To be with one another. To learn from another. And that is why adding some social…
What: Pots and Pans Why: Whether you keep them in the drawer below the oven or in a cupboard, pots and pans can be a frustrating mess. How do you contain your pots and pans when they are so big, bulky, and loud when you take them out? Here is a place to start: How:…
Hard to believe that school is just around the corner! For some, this may already be a fleeting thought since your kids are in school already! This is a series I did a year ago, but thought it would still apply, as the stress around school always happens it seems, no matter what year it…
When you are needing a pot or pan, do you open the cupboard or drawer wondering how in the world you are going to be able to get it out without them all crashing or falling out? Do you find yourself using the same pans over and over again, while rarely using others? For me…
Are you still onboard with this new challenge? To fill as many bags as you can, with the items you just don’t need anymore? Daily I am finding things that I question whether I need them or not. One of the “hot spots” for me since moving has been my kitchen utensil drawer. I would…

Awesome idea, Kristin! I tried taking a day at the beginning of the year and making all of the cards that I thought I would need for the year, but I never finished. But at least I got some done so I'm slightly ahead of the game!
Very clever idea!
Thanks Carol! It took me all too long to figure out a good system for cards, but I would say I now found it!

I love this idea and will be doing it soon!
I go to the dollar store about every 2-3 months and buy for the upcoming Special Days, Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. I place them in my box and just pull them out when the time comes. I set the birthdays and appointments up on the calendar located on my PC. I place the birthdays on 4 days in advance and receive a reminder in my e-mail box. This gives me time to mail the cards. Works out great.
What a great idea to put the dates in a calendar on your computer and then have an email reminder! Then you are bound to never forget :)! The dollar store truly has some good cards – you just have to take the time to look. Love it! Thank you for sharing!
Great idea! I would love it if you joined and contribute your awesome posts at my link party at City of Creative Dreams on Fridays 😀 Hope to see you there at City of Creative Dreams Link Party.
