Day 3 : Cards

Where does my deep desire to be organized come from? My belief. My faith in God. My desire to live a life for Him and not myself. While on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic (a second time), my heart cried tears of disgust and embarrassment at the life I was living. Not that we…
What: Facebook Why: Does facebook take up a lot of your time? Do you find yourself spending countless minutes or even hours, scrolling through facebook? Have you ever looked at a clock and thought “where did the time go?” and then realize you spent it all on facebook? Just like most things in life facebook can become…
AWHILE back, I started a blogging series that was a tour of our home (click link to check out the rest of the tour). Well, one room I did not do was a closet that Dan had redesigned. So today, I’m continuing a tour of our home, by taking a look at our front closet!…
Today is the last day in the “Forgetting To Declutter” series! My hope is that those areas in your home that you may easily forget about, are now decluttered and organized! I have one more area that may be easy to neglect. You may not necessary “forget” about it because you may frequent this area…
I don’t know about you, but every spring, the ants welcome themselves in and overstay their welcome! I have always used a store-bought ant killer, but I had run out of the old. I could’ve ran to the store, but I quickly jumped online to see if there was a homemade concoction that I could…
When it comes to the living room, remember that this is a place that you may spend a majority of your time as a family. You want it to be a relaxing and welcoming place, as it may be the place you end up every night, with your feet kicked up. Taking time to thoroughly…

Awesome idea, Kristin! I tried taking a day at the beginning of the year and making all of the cards that I thought I would need for the year, but I never finished. But at least I got some done so I'm slightly ahead of the game!
Very clever idea!
Thanks Carol! It took me all too long to figure out a good system for cards, but I would say I now found it!

I love this idea and will be doing it soon!
I go to the dollar store about every 2-3 months and buy for the upcoming Special Days, Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. I place them in my box and just pull them out when the time comes. I set the birthdays and appointments up on the calendar located on my PC. I place the birthdays on 4 days in advance and receive a reminder in my e-mail box. This gives me time to mail the cards. Works out great.
What a great idea to put the dates in a calendar on your computer and then have an email reminder! Then you are bound to never forget :)! The dollar store truly has some good cards – you just have to take the time to look. Love it! Thank you for sharing!
Great idea! I would love it if you joined and contribute your awesome posts at my link party at City of Creative Dreams on Fridays 😀 Hope to see you there at City of Creative Dreams Link Party.
