Day 3 : Cards

What do your cupboards look like? If yours are anything like mine have been, you have to shift things in the cupboard in order for the doors to shut. You have WAY more food storage containers than you will ever need or have food for. And maybe you keep every single one – even those…
Don’t we all love to hear ideas of what works and what doesn’t? As a mom, not that I am trying to be like everyone else, but I “love” hearing recommendations for things for my child! Much of what we have, has been recommended to us by other moms. That is why I want to…
There is still something inspiring about looking at a shelf of books. Whether it be the desire to learn a new hobby, learn about a new topic, or brush up on an old one. Much inspiration can be gathered from books. The thing is, we tend to stockpile our shelves with books, but rarely read…
THE BIG QUESTION: HOW MANY BAGS DID YOU FILL UP? Maybe you even lost count. Maybe you haven’t filled up any. Whatever the case may be, I hope that as you read through these days, that it created a spark in your heart to want to LIVE WITH LESS! The problem is, it is…
What: Copycat Home Decor Why: Pottery Barn. Crate and Barrel. Anthropologie. If you want some new decorating ideas, just gaze at their catalogs and websites and you will be inspired! You then glance at the price tag and think “they want WHAT for that bedspread?” You start to get sweaty palms and wonder “why am…

Awesome idea, Kristin! I tried taking a day at the beginning of the year and making all of the cards that I thought I would need for the year, but I never finished. But at least I got some done so I'm slightly ahead of the game!
Very clever idea!
Thanks Carol! It took me all too long to figure out a good system for cards, but I would say I now found it!

I love this idea and will be doing it soon!
I go to the dollar store about every 2-3 months and buy for the upcoming Special Days, Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. I place them in my box and just pull them out when the time comes. I set the birthdays and appointments up on the calendar located on my PC. I place the birthdays on 4 days in advance and receive a reminder in my e-mail box. This gives me time to mail the cards. Works out great.
What a great idea to put the dates in a calendar on your computer and then have an email reminder! Then you are bound to never forget :)! The dollar store truly has some good cards – you just have to take the time to look. Love it! Thank you for sharing!
Great idea! I would love it if you joined and contribute your awesome posts at my link party at City of Creative Dreams on Fridays 😀 Hope to see you there at City of Creative Dreams Link Party.
