Day 3 : Cards
What do you do with all of your buttons? You buy a new shirt and there is often a little baggy or button sewn into the bottom of the front of the shirt. Do you just throw away the button? Do you toss it into your sewing basket? Or does it just end up on…
Do you ever catch yourself in the middle of something and you wonder “why am I doing this?” I have totally been there. Call it what you want – mindless searching or mindless dreaming. You know what I’m talking about! You jump on Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, or even your favorite website, and have this life-envy…
What: Bags and Purses Why: It is time to pack and you can’t find that one bag you want to take with you. Or maybe it is a day trip you are planning for. You know you have the right bag, but it is no where to be seen because you have bags thrown all…
What: Baking from scratch versus buying from the store Why: Baking from scratch may seem like a chore for some. When time is hard to come by, baking a batch of cookies for the office may not be the first thing on the list to do. Though pre-packaged food is not wrong nor am I going…
Organizing the kitchen gadget drawer. Can I just say YIKES? This drawer can probably be one of the most cluttered and tangled places in your home. Is there a right and wrong way to organize this drawer? No. Do what is best for YOU. This was my idea of an organized kitchen gadget drawer. I…
I am all about organizing every area of life. Whether physical, mental, or even media-wise. I was a little skeptical of Pinterest when it first came out. I wasn’t sure I wanted to add “one more thing” to look at. One more website to go to. I kept hearing of people becoming addicted to it…

Awesome idea, Kristin! I tried taking a day at the beginning of the year and making all of the cards that I thought I would need for the year, but I never finished. But at least I got some done so I'm slightly ahead of the game!
Very clever idea!
Thanks Carol! It took me all too long to figure out a good system for cards, but I would say I now found it!

I love this idea and will be doing it soon!
I go to the dollar store about every 2-3 months and buy for the upcoming Special Days, Sympathy and Thinking of You cards. I place them in my box and just pull them out when the time comes. I set the birthdays and appointments up on the calendar located on my PC. I place the birthdays on 4 days in advance and receive a reminder in my e-mail box. This gives me time to mail the cards. Works out great.
What a great idea to put the dates in a calendar on your computer and then have an email reminder! Then you are bound to never forget :)! The dollar store truly has some good cards – you just have to take the time to look. Love it! Thank you for sharing!
Great idea! I would love it if you joined and contribute your awesome posts at my link party at City of Creative Dreams on Fridays 😀 Hope to see you there at City of Creative Dreams Link Party.
