  • Mazy’s Favorite Books

We like to read in our house. There is something peaceful about pulling out a book, cuddling and squishing together on the couch, as we soak in the story and allow ourselves to imagine beyond the present. Thankfully Mazy likes to sit and read books now. She didn’t always love to, which comes with age,…

  1. Kristin, I’ve dealt with so many media cal issues. Ones that likely will never go away until heaven. I also have a living kiddo who has medical stuff to. We lost a 2 year old son to medics special needs. We’ve been in the foster care/adoption world for 8 years, and there is a book you might enjoy reading. It focuses a ton on foster/adoptive kiddos, but receives all kiddos who’ve dealt with trauma. I have multiple copies you could borrow! You can reach me through Dee or Sarah B. I know both well. Let me know if you’d like to chat trauma and/or read the book!! Happy to try to help!

    1. Hi Katie!

It sounds like you have an incredible story and have not walked an easy road. A road filled with much grief and loss! What is the name of that book? That sounds really intriguing to me, since I feel whether it relates to our situation or not, it’s always good to try and understand life from other’s perspectives! Thank you for reaching out Katie! I’d love to hear more of your story sometime if you feel comfortable sharing it with me! Blessings to you!
