Questions I Asked My Daughter

I have been seeing a thread going around on social media about questions you can ask your child. I’ve seen these lists on Pinterest before, but never really took the time to ask Mazy some of them. So, while Daddy was gone and it was just her and I at the supper table, I decided to ask her a bunch of questions. Thankfully she thought it was fun and answered them in all seriousness! I think she probably could’ve kept going, but these were all the questions I had. Some of her answers were just adorable, some made me wonder where in the world she got that answer, and some were just down right hilarious! So…if you need a little laugh and want to get to know our little sweet Mazy…this is a great start!

Questions I asked Mazy:

1. What is your name? Mazy
2. How old are you? 469
3. How old is Mom? 7
4. What’s your favorite color? Blue
5. What’s your favorite food? Pizza
6. Who is your best friend? Scarlett
7. What’s your favorite song? If You’re Happy and You Know It
8. What’s your favorite animal? Puppies
9. What’s your favorite Bible story? Moses
10. How do you know God loves you? Because He’s God
11. What are you scared of? Thunder
12. What do you like to do? Swing, slides, and when people help me feel better, look at Christmas trees, go to McDonald’s.
13. What does love mean? Daughters and snuggle with children

3. How does Daddy make you laugh? Funny faces
4. How tall is Daddy? I’ll show you
5. What is Daddy’s favorite thing to do? Color
6. What does Daddy do when you’re not around? Work
7. What is Daddy really good at? Putting nails in the wall
8. What is Daddy not very good at? Tattoos
9. What does Daddy do for a job? Put nails in the wall
10. What is Daddy’s favorite food? Pizza
11. What makes you proud of Daddy? Carrying his daughter
12. What do you like to do together? Snuggle
13. How do you know Daddy loves you? He’s really big to carry me
14. Where is Daddy’s favorite place to go? Burger King
15. What is your wish for Daddy? Get tattoos for me

Questions I asked Mazy about me:

1. What do I always say? I love you
2. What makes me happy? ME!
3. What makes me sad? Shopping
4. How do I make you laugh? Faces
5. How tall am I? Let me show you
6. What’s my most favorite thing to do? Play with me
7. What am I good at? Changing Ava’s diaper
8. What am I not good at? Tattoos
9. What’s my favorite food? Strawberries
10. What makes me proud of you? When I go poopies on the toilet
11. What do I like to do together? Playdoh
12. How do you know that I love you? You’re really nice
13. What do I like about Daddy? He puts nails in the wall
14. What’s my favorite place to go? McDonald’s

I still chuckle at some of these answers! I’d love to help you understand the answer of some of them, but I think they are more funny if I just leave them as is. Never take for granted those quality times you have with your child…they may just open up a whole new world!
