A Sternum Setback Today…

This morning I was going to blog about how good I was feeling! I woke up feeling AMAZING! I had a REALLY good day yesterday (just a tad tired). Well, I slept good and woke up wanting to conquer the world. I even vacuumed! Well, I headed to work and as the day went on, I knew maybe this wasn’t going to be such a great day. I ended up having to go home early 🙁 because I felt so sick. My doctor on Monday told me that the prednisone was going to make me feel sick and have an upset stomach. Yesterday I was like pssh…what is she talking about? Well, today now I know! I CANNOT throw up (I know, maybe this is TMI), but I can never remember throwing up. Apparently as a child I could not keep my milk down and I ALWAYS spit up. Apparently I took care of that problem as young child. But I tell ya, I feel so incredibly nauseous and walking makes me want to curl up in a ball. So, I suppose my doctor was definitely right! I know I have to keep taking the medication, but that is the LAST thing I want to do because it is making me feel so sick. BUT…I will say the pain is definitely going away, so that is a bonus!

I know this is kind of a downer post, but I had high hopes for today! I know a lot of you have been praying and want to hear updates; THANK YOU for the prayers! They really mean a LOT! Good thing I will only be on the prednisone for a few (4) more days and HOPEFULLY I will be in the clear! But praise God that the inflammation is going down! I can definitely tell a difference! I can take a deep breath without there being too much pain! So tonight I am looking forward to just chillin’ and takin’ it easy! And yes, Dan will be cleaning under the sink from now on :).
