My faith has been through the wringer. There have been so many times in my life that I’ve thought, “Okay, God, you see me down here, right?” I’ve questioned his constant presence – I know he’s always there – but I’ve wondered his distance. When I was in the hospital, a nurse asked me: each…

What a day! Here’s a speedy version of the day – Bible study at 7:30am, went straight to work, went straight to Dan’s parents for supper, went home to put jeans on and went straight to the Young Life banquet, and then hung out with one of our dear youth group kids. Nutso! But I…

This week is all about revisiting my heart issues. I have 4 appointments in Ann Arbor, but only have to go out their twice. Whew. Today I had quite a gap between my two appointments, so I explored downtown Ann Arbor for awhile by foot, which I have never done in my years of going…

  1. Wow, Kristin! You are such a miracle; God is teaching us all so much through you. Your attitude is amazing, and I’m so proud of Dan and Mazy and all your friends. They are absolutely stepping us. I’ve always loved living in the South, but today I wish I were closer. I think my skillet stew with dumplings could minister to you in an amazing way! I love you–the whole bunch–and am praying all continues to go well.

    1. Oh man, skillet stew with dumplings? That sounds like southern COMFORT food! I don’t think I’ve ever had anything remotely close to that! It sounds like some meaty hearty goodness – a way to my heart LOL! Well, know that from afar, we know our family is so loved by the Kenleys and I we couldn’t be more thankful for your friendship! Love you so much MAK!
