I love music. I always have. I am not a great singer or piano player, but I enjoy both! I often just stick to the comforts of my own home when I want to sing or play to spare the public! When I am at home, I tend to crank up a cd, and belt out the songs – literally. Sometimes a cheesy dance move may come out too :). Hey, if you can’t be comfortable in your own home, where can you be? So, depending on what mood I am in, here are a few cds that I frequently rotate through (in no particular order):
Good ole Norah – this is my “chill” music
I have this wierd love for OLD music – music that is way past “the oldies” – I’m talkin’ like 30’s-40’s music. You ever go to a museum and they have really old music playing? Yup, I love that stuff!
Then when I need a little “umf” in life, Skillet’s Comatose cd gets me movin’. Skillet can get pretty hard rocky for me, but this cd I can definitely handle! One of my favs!
No I don’t just love this cd because we met the guy :). I love this cd because it’s easy to sing along with, very worshipful, and is a good “belting it all out” cd.
Oh how I would LOVE to be able to play the songs on this cd! I have the songbook because the songs are so incredibly beautiful, but I tell ya, it just ain’t happenin’. This cd has a bunch of old school hymns on it, but set to GOREOUS piano music. It really is breathtaking! All instrumental
Gotta love Grits! They are one of my most fav Christian rap groups. This cd is a remix of some of their other songs. Throw this in your cd player and you will find yourself bustin’ moves all over the place!
Tedashii! One of the BEST Christian rap cds that I know of. If you like just listening to beats, this one is top notch. If you like good Christian lyrics, this one is top notch. If you like to dance, this one is top notch. You Tube “Riot” by Tedashii – you will be hooked!
I am one of those people who starts to listen to Christmas music too soon. I don’t care! This classic by Amy Grant can’t help but get me in the Christmas mindset! Yes I have pulled this cd out in the middle of summer!
AWESOME Christmas cd! It’s not too “rocky” and is very reflective – plus Third Day is just an amazing group!
Ever see the movie Little Women? I can’t say I’ve seen the movie all that often, but I always remembered the music. This is SUCH a BEAUTIFUL instrumental cd! It honestly makes you feel like you’re in another country while listening to it. You can laugh at this one, but once you listen to the first song, you will LOVE it! Check it out!
As with all my top 10s, I would LOVE to hear what your favorite cds are! I take your comments seriously :)! I picked up a book that someone suggested to me and it’s AWESOME thus far! So, let me know what you typically put on your ipod or in your cd player!
