Not much to say about this week, except how much we are loving these pups (even though they haven’t quite mastered the potty training gig yet). They do run our lives a bit being that they are taking a bit to catch on to the whole going to the bathroom outside, but we know it’ll…

  • THIS Is Real Life

THIS is real life. Sorry Dan, I know this isn’t the most attractive picture of me that I am posting to the world, but thank you for loving me still, despite my crazy hair, glasses-wearing days! THAT is why I love you! You see, THIS is real life. This was me when I woke up…

  • Around the Home

It is no surprise to any of you, that this has been a unique week. I have never imagined spending as much time as I have at home. Granted after my open heart surgeries, I didn’t leave the house for awhile then either, but this scenario is a whole different story. One that’ll be etched…

Fishing with Sterks is always an adventure. We’ve been known to get stranded with flat tires, motors not starting, hauling in the big lunkers, more boat issues, and now we can add another one to the list – someone has fallen out of the boat. 1. Hi Kristen – your faith and your life story is so incredibly inspiring to me. What a beautiful illustration. I want you to know I am praying for you, Mazy and your husband Dan. I devoured your book and read your blogs. You are so gifted it is amazing.

As a fellow heart patient I know and can relate to the ups and downs that we encounter. The Lord has reminded me that He is sovereign despite the tent we live in currently. He revealed 2 Cor 5 to me as a reminder of the permanent building He has waiting for us and our guarantee via the Holy Spirit.

I am so blessed that I found your blog as I recently went through some valleys. He just gave me a hilltop after a bit of a valley. As I was in the valley your example of trust, faith is something that helped me. I have prayed more than once that I want to have faith such as yours.

I am quite a bit older than you but want you to know that you are my inspiration. . You are a major example of living the life of a believer. Great will be your reward! Until then I am praying for a solution and healing for you. Thank you for your message of faith to us all.
