I look so forward to Thanksgiving every year. It’s one of those celebrations that just never gets old! Not only talking about what we are thankful for, but also just purely thinking about what I am thankful for and what God has so graciously blessed us with, keeps life in perspective, doesn’t it? So needless to say, I am eager to not only celebrate on Thursday, but continue it throughout the week, month, and well, life!

This past week Mazy came down with an ear infection, which isn’t unheard of for her, though we did think she was growing out of them. She has had tubes, but have since fallen out, so doc said if the fluid doesn’t pass, and it continues to be an issue, they will revisit the idea. Poor girl kept saying to me Wednesday (after we knew she had one), mom, I just can’t hear you! Outside of sleeping terribly Tuesday night, she really acted fairly normal, which if I were her, I’d probs be down and out. So kudos to her for being trooper b/c doc said it was a good one! So here’s to amoxicillin and killing off any of the other bugs going around!

With that, we had a nice slow week of wrapping gifts, playing at home, and just getting some things done around home. Mazy was also able to go hunting with daddy!

At youth group on Sunday, we did wax paper races! The longer distance we learned, made the bottom burn a bit :).

Mazy went hunting with a sweet friend from church on Tuesday, but little did we know that she had an ear infection and the cold didn’t feel great in her ear, even though they were covered. Parenting sure keeps ya humble!

And I have been feeling good the past few days, so I decided to try and walk downtown with Mazers. And…success! It was cold and I went slow, but I did it! Mazy couldn’t resist climbing the trees either! And yes, those are bright red socks with light purple sparkly shoes…
