What a wonderful week we had, especially with the gift of being able to celebrate Mother’s Day with Mazy in our lives. Dan spoiled me by giving me a gift certificate for a pedicure, made the BEST card WITH Mazy, and just doing all of these acts of service that meant so much.

We spent the afternoon going to the Ramsey State Park zoo. It is very small, as in just a few animals, but Mazy couldn’t get enough of the turkeys! Anytime we went to the next station, she was pointing to go back to the turkeys. She was just talking and talking to them. Made this mama’s heart so full. It was a beautiful afternoon to just walk around and spend time as a family of 3!

Unfortunately we found out Mazy still has an ear infection. We are going on 1 1/2 months of it, and the next step is for her to get tubes. They are trying one more thing and we have to go in for a recheck next Friday, to see if it cleared up. At this point, we will do anything to ensure she just feels better, even if it means tubes. She has not slept well at night and she is putting her finger in her ear because it bothers her. We feel so sorry for her! Lots of snuggles and hugs happen throughout the day!

We also have had amazing weather here in Minnesota! In fact, on Friday it almost hit 90! All the shorts we had for Mazy were 18 month and that is the size she is in for shirts, heading towards 24 month/2T. Well, the 18 month shorts literally fell off her, so I bought two pairs from Walmart that are 6-9 month and THOSE fall off! I had to roll them so they didn’t! I tell ya, she has her daddy’s build and I never imagined her being in such small shorts!

This little stinker likes to pull our cereal out of the cupboard, pull the bag out and sit in the kitchen and eat it. Hey, whatever keeps her happy, right?
