Next week Mazy will be 11 months old! Wowzas! Love this girl more and more each day!

It has been quite cold this week, so that means no walks for us, which has been a bit disappointing, but it is February in Minnesota! Hopefully we will be able to get outside again soon – otherwise I find myself feeling a bit cooped up.

Dan pulled out Mazy’s fishing pole that we bought her when we found out we were having a girl. She LOVES it! She loves watching the star skip it’s way across the floor as we reel it in (as you can see).

As you may remember, Mazy is VERY into dogs. Whether stuffed, in a book, or alive. She gets so excited every time. We decided to buy a used book off Amazon – an old version of the Encyclopedia for Dog Breeds for $.01 (+shipping). It’s a bit of a bigger book than what I thought it’d be, but she loves paging through it and talking to each of the dogs. Sometimes she even hugs them!

Call me strange, but THIS is how I simplify my time. I wash all of our clothes in the same load, whether towels, dark colors, or whites. I know that this is the biggest no-no (and that was not how I was taught), but with only 3 people, we just don’t generate a lot of clothes. This has been a system I have done for years now and I wouldn’t say I could tell any difference!

I saw blueberries at Aldi the other day and I should have known they weren’t from Michigan. They just didn’t taste the same. At. All.

Hope you all have a wonderful week! Mazy is getting some new teeth which always makes sleeping interesting, but I have to say she looks a little silly with her straggly teeth coming in! They are by far not in “order” and it is perfect. She has the most adorable smile because of it!

Wednesday – Family Life

Definitely the biggest thing right now is staying healthy (as I’m sure you can all relate to!) On Monday, Dan was diagnosed with bronchitis, which wasn’t a surprise. He has been sick for over a week and his fever kept spiking. We thought he’d be getting better then the next day he would go downhill….
