We have survived a week without her wubs! Last week I had cut the paci off and ever since, she has said it’s “broke, sad.” It was a rough first couple of days, nights, and naptime, but now she only asks about wubs about once a day. We have also been working on getting her to sleep through the night again, and it is becoming successful. We have had some long nights, but those snuggles and singing, I truly do love. We know we have never had a good sleeper on our hands, but we know too, she is so much happier when she is well rested. Having her cry it out is hard, but this time she is figuring it out (unlike a week ago). Mazy definitely keeps us on our toes, but it has been the best thing for me, personally! I sometimes like to have everything figured out, but Mazy reminds me daily that life doesn’t always need to be figured out. There is beauty in change and flexibility!

Mazy loves to play with play-doh! All of the colors have to come out, but oh do I love to just hear her talk to it, tell it stories, and make little piles. Have I ever said how much I love this stage?

Mazy had to be just like daddy and mommy and put her hands in her coat pocket.
