This Week In Pictures

It may seem like I am always posting pictures of our Mazers, but it is hard not to. Not living by family, it is hard to describe in words how she is growing, so I decided that pictures are a better description of what Mazy is up to on a daily basis. Mazy Grace is a baby our families have been praying for, for so many years, and to not always be able to physically “share” her with them, is hard. But we also know that God has us right where He wants us! So THAT is why I share so many pictures of our baby girl!

Mazy has been doing so good this week! She just seems happier and is getting in a routine. Not a clock-work routine, but a eat-wake-sleep routine. It is a beautiful thing and it makes parenting so much easier because she is a little bit more predictable.

Just this morning I was singing to her and she looks up at me with those big blue eyes and just smiles and smiles. It brought tears to my eyes as I choked on my words, knowing that this girl is safe in my arms. I feel she is not in pain anymore. She is loving life. We are building a beautiful relationship.

We are jumping on the kid-bandwagon, which means we are in the business of looking for a minivan! My husband said he would never drive one, but we are realizing that with our trips back to Michigan, a minivan is the best bang for your buck. The past 3 times we have driven our “reliable” vehicle, we have had more major repairs on it. So we decided it’s time to buy something and buy it right! Even in looking for a van, we feel blessed because we never thought we would have the chance to look at a vehicle that would fit a carseat. Just another way that God has blessed us in having a child. Never had to consider that before!
