Our Little Christmas
Since Mazy has been born, we have tried to establish our own little tradition for Christmas, but not being home, we haven’t been sure how to do that. We have not been at our own home for Christmas since we have moved out to Minnesota. We knew we wanted to get Mazy SOMETHING for Christmas, just so she could open a gift from us, but we really have all we need.
When thinking of one thing we know she loves, but we do not have, we did not have to look far:
A PUPPY. A week before we had to leave, we finally decided on getting her not a real puppy, but a life-size one. I was able to find a good deal on a Melissa and Doug golden retriever puppy, and knew that was exactly what we should get her.
And her face said it ALL! Dan had the collar from his dog that passed away, so we knew we had to name it Caz (plus it was a name Mazy could say!)
So on Christmas day morning, she opened her gift. These pictures made that purchase more than worthwhile! Just having one gift made her appreciate it all the more! Not to mention, she takes care of it like a live dog…feeds Caz, gives him milk, hugs, pets, and rough-houses with him too! That girl and her dog.
