  • Around the Home

Week number who knows what in lockdown, but I am growing to love this. I know that may sound odd, but I often find when we have slower times in life or when I am forced to slow down, it’s because I’m recovering from a procedure or surgery. Those times are often quite difficult, so…

  • Around The Home

Where did the week go? I actually very much dislike saying that because at times that can mean a week goes by without me being intentional or living in the moment. If a week goes by and I wonder where it went, it can mean it went by without me being thankful for all that…

  • I AM COMING HOME

It’s hard to believe that this day is actually here. COMING HOME day. Three weeks ago, when I was admitted to monitor my heart before my ablation on September 15, little did I know that when I took my last step out of our house that day, it’d be the last for the next 3…

  • Moving On

Today over all was a good day! I woke up excited to go to a Bible study that I’m a part of and just ready for a new day – hoping a day without a major breakdown. The Bible study was all about the devil and how he can and will creep into every corner…

  • Choosing Victory

In life, we have the choice to see our circumstances as either a loss or a victory, or we can CHOOSE VICTORY EVERY SINGLE TIME. Have you ever thought about that? 1. What a beautiful article and heart you have, Kristin! I love these words you wrote “ It’s in making that choice to CHOOSE joy, where true joy can be found”. I’m praying for you!

    1. Even though I knew joy wasn’t about being happy, this past year has taught me that even more, that there is true joy to be found in each day, we just have to keep our eyes open and not assume happiness will bring it. Always learning! Thank you for your prayers, Mollie!

  2. Kristin, I’m so glad that I stumbled upon your blog. I’m wiping away the tears as I write this because I am in awe of the strength and faith you have. I am praying for you and will certainly keep you and your family on my prayer list. I say to my kids every day, “Remember to look for and choose joy throughout your day”. God Bless you:)

    1. I just love how God connects his people! He does it in such unique ways! Thank you for your prayers too, we so appreciate that! We know God hears every one of them and we know they only draw us closer to Him, which is what we desire in all of this. I love what you say to your kiddos too! Such wise words…I might have to implement that myself. Thanks again for reaching out!
