  • The Battle Belongs To You, Lord

What battle are you currently fighting? Is it a physical one? Mental? Emotional? Spiritual? Relational? We all have our battles and I believe no battle is necessarily worse than another in the sense that each battle carries often the same emotions of defeat, loss, grief, pain, frustration, etc., just the circumstances look different. • So Much To Be Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving! Hard to believe we are almost at the end of November! When I was diagnosed with leukemia, I envisioned having to “miss” Thanksgiving due to chemo treatments. But thanks to the flexibility of my doctors, they allowed me to move my chemo treatments back a week so I could spend Thanksgiving with family….

I never imagined having 2 babies in heaven, being 3 open heart surgeries in, but also having the most beautiful daughter sleeping soundly in her bed at this moment, with a husband who is my biggest cheerleader. 1. Do you have time to send out cards and words of encouragement. Everyone needs to be lifted up now and then. Spend time writing notes to your friends and loved ones. Everyone loves getting cards in the mail even if it just says, I love you, I appreciate you, have a great week, thinking of you, hope you have a fun time, I appreciate all you do for…, be that sunshine some one might need.

I send out a lot of cards and I can’t tell you how many people text me because it made their day a little brighter, just because I took a few minutes to send it. Just a thought. It gives you a great feeling too.

  2. I love this, Mary! I think it’s a FANTASTIC idea and I always love getting cards from you! You are such a thoughtful person, Mary! This is definitely a ministry of yours!
