  • Remembering Where You Were

I’ll never forget where I was. And I’m sure you haven’t either – when you were told about your diagnosis, when your loved one passed away, when you found out your job was ending. We often remember the most trivial of details, and yet at the moment, one single moment, everything changed. I’ll never forget…

  • When Peace Like A River

I know yesterday I talked a lot about Christ’s death on the cross, but I just haven’t stopped thinking about it. Easter is one of those “holidays” that I NEVER want to overlook because of business or just not taking the time to think about. Every year I try to spend more and more time reflecting…

  • God Knows Why

In thinking about what to write about today, my mind keeps turning back to a year ago. A year ago, our life looked so different. Our life was filled with chaos yet the joy and hope of possibly having two children of our own. As I was running today, I was reflecting on where God…

  1. Such a great writing!! For me it was and is so different because most people don’t have a clue what chemo and radiation to a person. Mine is not visible to anyone but the pain is there. And we don’t walk around with a sign on our back😜. We deal with whatever God puts in our path. I love your smile- it is always there but I’m sure in private moments it can be otherwise. See you at church!

    1. Betty, I think you absolutely nailed it, most don’t have a clue what chemo and radiation can do! A battle I’m sure you constantly are fighting still to this day. I’ve often thought that as much as chemo kills the cancer, it kills much more within the body and some of that is permanent damage, just as much as it Lord-willing permanently kills the cancer. Hard to understand until you’ve gone through it. And I didn’t go through radiation! Thank you to have you in my life, Betty! Much love to you!
