I am not a doctor, so take this for what it’s worth, but when it says “close to skin”, I actually do direct Lumebox to skin contact. If you have sensitive skin, do not use it for the full 12 until you know for sure how your skin reacts. But I personally am able to do direct contact without any issues. Again, please be cautious when doing this for the first time.
