Dude Perfect Tour – Grand Rapids

On Wednesday night, we had the opportunity to see Dude Perfect LIVE!
To put this in perspective, we watch Dude Perfect almost every single night (no exaggeration). It’s hard to find shows that have Biblical values, but with Dude Perfect, I never have to worry about what’s going to come on. I know they could make millions more if they succumbed to the advertisements and ways of this world, but they have chosen not to. And now God has blessed their platform and has allowed it to build and build, as they give glory to Him alone.
The part that gets me choked up each time, is when they share their testimony at the end. They are ordinary people, doing extraordinary things for God. As they said, they would give it all up in order for them or their kids to know Jesus. Coby said in his prayer, “I pray this is a core memory for our kids tonight.” Mission accomplished.
This is what we want to create – core memories that point Mazy and us, to God. Last night was one of those nights. And their name, Dude Perfect, is actually meant to ultimately point people to the only perfect one – Jesus Christ.
Here’s a glimpse at what it all entailed…
There were cardboard cutouts to take pictures by (don’t they look real?)

One thing about Van Andel Arena is that there isn’t really a “bad” seat, so up in the nosebleeds we were!

The introducing of Dude Perfect…

They did a few battles, which always got the crowd going!

If you’ve seen DP, you may have seen their “Cool, Not Cool” episodes, and this time we could vote via he DP app, what we thought! So much fun for the kids.

Each year the guys do trick shots from around the arena. In previous years they’ve been right in front of us, this year they were behind:

Perspective…Mazy’s smile says it all. She was THAT CLOSE to Dude Perfect!

Oh Wheel Unfortunate…one kid had to eat dried bugs and another, like a hamster :).

I think it’ll take years to vacuum up all the confetti…the DJ for the show was fanning off his turntable because they were EVERYWHERE.

The best part of the night in my book…when they share the gospel and their faith. When you hear 1,000s cheering for Christ, it’s just a slice of heaven in my book. All glory be to HIM ALONE.

This was actually our 3rd time going, and Mazy is already begging to go if they come next year! And each time it’s just as spectacular. Thanks to Dude Perfect for uniting families around such a fun evening and giving glory to God through it all.
