A Day in the Life of a Minnesota Winter
I have to admit, this is maybe some of the worst weather we have had since moving out here to Minnesota! Not that we have gotten dumped on with snow, but the combination of the snow and WIND, has left monumental (literally) effects. School is cancelled tomorrow, in which we are not surprised! Dan and I decided it would be fun to go for a drive tonight…something we typically do when a bad storm comes through. Needless to say, we didn’t make it very far!

It will be an interesting morning at the co-op for these workers!
This is a drift in the road…
We decided to venture up County Road 1 (main road) and we didn’t make it very far. We were in between 2 drifts and said, “well, so much for the adventure!” We turned around and said “yup, it’s bad!” This picture doesn’t do it justice, but a car would not make it through!
Tomorrow will entail another day of staying warm indoors! I am not even sure what school is open in the state tomorrow (I am sure there probably are some), but the list goes on and on at the bottom of the tv screen! Shall be an interesting week!
