And just like that, November is done. Does anyone else feel like that month flew by? Though I find the older I get, the more I find myself saying that! Though it gives me every reason to slow down and allow the moments of each day, to sink in. This past week, I feel we’ve been able to do just that – soak in the moments.
It was absolutely gorgeous on Tuesday, here in West Michigan! Mazy kept begging me to take her to the park, and after doing some negotiating, we landed at the park before I headed to work.
This girl’s smile says it all. I never get sick of her watching her just LOVE life! Makes me love it all the more too:
Crazy hair…don’t care!
On Wednesday, I turned the big 3-6! In celebration, we took Mazy to go see Frozen 2. She was beyond excited! It was the first time we had been to the movie theater with her (though her second movie…she saw Toy Story 4 with grandpa and grandma when I was in the hospital). We had such a fun morning!
We also had such a joyous time celebrating Thanksgiving with both families this past week. We are beyond blessed to have our families close to us and are so thankful for their presence in our life. Even though no pictures were taken, memories were made and love felt. Anytime I am anticipating a heart procedure, it always reminds me of what’s important in life. Monday I am going to have ablations repeated on both sides of my heart, which isn’t a super fun procedure, but we are praying that it is successful this time around. It’s in God’s hands and we know he will do what he feels needs to be done that day – even if it doesn’t mean complete success. He will allow what he wills to be allowed. And we just have to trust in that plan!
