Around the Home
With further ado…
Mazy has a little zoom meeting with her classmates every Tuesday, and last week was crazy hair day. Mazy wanted to do something fun, so I thought shoot, why not try pipe cleaners in the hair? Had no idea if it’d work, but we were playing with them, and if we tied them all together, her hair would stay! She had SO much fun doing this, if you can’t tell by her smile!
Mazy wanted to go to the Outdoor Discovery Center again this week, so we went exploring and found…
A toad! She didn’t quite dare hold it bare hands, but this is a start:
We seriously can’t keep this girl out of the green water! We took part of the pool cover off to work on the concrete and it turned a bit green, but it sure doesn’t stop this girl! Oh, and the pool was 52 degrees. Note that you don’t see me in there!
Quarantine means creativity…love seeing this girl’s mind run wild!
Have you ever tried zucchini chips? YUMMO. Now don’t be fooled, I am not an all-healthy eater, BY ALL MEANS. But I’ve been making these “chips” and I just love ’em. Ya don’t get much, but totally worth it. Slice the zucchini thin, line in pan, brush with olive oil, put a little salt on, and bake at 225 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours. When they are crispy, they’re done. I’m the only one who likes them, bummer! (NOT)
Mazy goes through 4 pairs of clothes a day, but hey, I’m home and can do laundry, so why not?
So thankful to have family farms to go and visit! She sure loves her cows:
Hope YOU all are doing well! What has been your favorite part of the quarantine thus far?
