Around the Home
No need to do an introduction…I’ll let the pictures do the talking:
While at Grandma’s house with her cousins, they found little baby mice…and let me tell you, they were LITTLE.
Okay, not going to lie, they were kinda cute. But that’s as far as I’ll go.
Blurry picture, but I just love watching this little beauty sleep! Singing her to sleep every night is something I try to not take for granted:
Mazy had her first SOCCER practice this past week and let me tell you, she LOVED it! After she was done, she asked when her next one was. She told me a year ago that she wanted to play basketball and soccer. So far she has stuck to that and has proven that indeed, that’s what she wants to play:
Mazy wanted to have her picture taken in front of the fountain in downtown Zeeland:
Last Friday, Mazy asked if we could go to McDonalds because that is what we have done for YEARS. Every Friday since 2004, after my grandpa passed away, we would get together with my mom’s side of the family with my grandma, aunts, cousins, etc. at McDonalds. Sadly McDonald’s play place open and it will be so different without my grandma there. But we hope to one day revive that tradition and until then, we will enjoy a little picnic at the park! The ducks decided they were kinda hungry too…
This is summer:
We are dogsitting my in-laws golden retriever, Millie, who also happens to be Maggie’s sister for the next 2 weeks! Mazy decided they had to go to pillow puppy school, where they sat on pillows and Mazy would teach them. Love this girl’s creativity and imagination!
We came home one evening and wondered what in the world was in the bottom of our pool and soon realized it was 2 cans of Sprite! Our neighbors threw 2 cans over the fence…brings a whole new meaning to a “cold one”!
Mazy has been BEGGING to go to Craig’s Cruisers ever since our trip with the youth group cancelled way back in March, due to the virus. Dan decided to take her to “the closer one” as Mazy calls it (usually we go to the one in GR with youth group) and as you can see, she had plenty of fun. Love seeing those two go on daddy-daughter dates! I hope they can continue that the rest of her life.
And if you’re wondering how Mazy’s first day of Kindergarten went, check this post out.
