Around the Home
It is incredibly hard to believe we went from the mid-70s to insanely windy and cold one week later, but here we are! I’ll let the pictures explain…
Here was Mazy last week at Lake Michigan…
And here is Lake Michigan a week later…
That is actually a road that is completely covered in water from the channel overflowing…
And here we are at the one of our favorite campgrounds (actually, the only place we camp once a year)! The pictures do not do it justice of course, but the power behind those waves was absolutely incredible!! I love these days because it opened up the conversation to talk about God’s power, how he is in control of even these waves, and how he shows us his power:
She was all about a picture until she thought she was going to blow away and that the wind would blow her teeth out of her mouth :)…
Mazy was counting down the hours until the Michigan vs. Wisconsin football game started! For some reason, she LOVES to watch football, even though she doesn’t really have a clue what’s going on, but she had to put on her Michigan shirt and all! And let’s not talk about the score. She even made her own little score sheet and marked when each team scored. A girl after my own heart :).
Even though Maggie is starting to chew up a LOT of stuff, their bond is irreplaceable. When I walked in one night to check on Mazers, this is what I found. I mean look at Maggie’s paw and Mazy’s hand…and indeed, she is sound asleep. Makes all it all worth it!
Here’s to another week and as much as I want the virus to go away, I know God has a much bigger plan for all of this that we will probably never fully understand ourselves. So in that case, MAY GOD’S WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN!
