Around the Home
Whew! The school year is complete! We could not be more proud of all Mazy has accomplished in every aspect. It was not an easy year due to covid quarantines, the anxieties of knowing mommy wasn’t always feeling well or was gone, but she triumphed through it all! We couldn’t be more thankful for her teachers, helpers, and counselor who dealt with the tears and worries! They helped her through so so much and she is a different kiddo because of them. The love and hugs she received helped us get to this day – the last day. Now on to a new school, but that doesn’t diminish the memories made the past 2 years.
After the last day of school, Mazy attended a birthday party for one of her friends from school at a gymnastics place. She could not WAIT to hang out with her friends outside of school and try a little gymnastics:
Immediately after the birthday party, we headed to the Conference Grounds for a week of camping with family and friends! As always, the week did not disappoint. I always get a little teary-eyed leaving at the end of the week because it is always such an amazing time, which has now become a yearly tradition! The weather was hot, but even though almost each day there was predicted rain, we received very little, which made for lots of fun in the sun!
One of her favorite places: the craft cove!
We used a surf board from some friends of ours and even though it wasn’t very wavy, Mazy still had a lot of fun trying to the get the boat waves:
Mazy and Maggie definitely missed each other after a week’s separation:
INSEPARABLE!
