Around the Home
School is knocking on the door! This past week I went to a training for paraprofessionals in preparation for my new job at Mazy’s new school! I am very eager to start and will be working 3 full days a week, which is a perfect fit. This coming week comes more professional development and back-to-school night for Mazy. And next week? Mazy starts school and I start working! Crazy to think summer is coming to a close, but I am ready for routine and some relative consistency. Though the pool won’t be closed any time soon, so hopefully we can spend many hours in there yet!
This past week was quite hot and stormy, which made being outside a bit harder for this heart patient girl, but we are thankful for the cooler weather here in Michigan the past few days. And here’s what our week has looked like:
After some pretty hot temps, Mazy and I headed to some thrift stores where we found some GEMS, like this old school game that I grew up with, circa 1981! You bet we bought it:
Mazy set up a movie night at home with tickets, snacks, and we watched “Inside Out.” Yep, I bawled during it and I even saw Mazy holding back the tears!
Movie time meant snuggle time with daddy and maybe falling asleep…
Love watching this girl bike:
Can’t believe this girl is going to be in 1st grade this year! Couldn’t love that girl more.
