Around the Home
School has begun! This past week we tried to live up our last week of summer before school began on Wednesday! It was a scorcher temperature-wise in West Michigan, but it sure didn’t stop us from having fun:
We visited Dutch Village (again), which is one of Mazy’s most favorite places. And I’ll admit, it’s one of mine too…
We heard their was a new Paw Patrol movie out, so we pulled out a movie theater gift card that we’ve had for ages and spent the hot evening in an air conditioned movie theater. The movie did not disappoint and would definitely recommend it!
Mazy likes to do hair, but Daddy even offered to pay her $1 for every 5 minutes she brushed his hair! I think she made it up to 10 minutes :)…
I don’t know if I’d trust that look though…
Mazy’s first day of 1st grade! She was SO excited to start school and we could not leave soon enough on Wednesday:
Even though masks are required for her age, she still has the best attitude about it all!
I get why people call her my mini-me…
That smile couldn’t get any bigger:
Thursday night we headed to the Hudsonville Fair to watch the off-road demo derby! We couldn’t go to the fair and not see the animals, so we made a sweaty trip through the barns. It was HOT.
Looking forward to some cooler air this week…the heat and humidity doesn’t help this heart failure patient, but hopefully this week my body regulates itself a bit more!
💕💕💕 love checking in to see how this loving little family is doing! 💕💕💕
And we can’t wait to SEE YOU IN A FEW MONTHS!! Sure love you, April!
