Around the Home
The week of Christmas. We often spend so much time preparing for it that when it comes to the actual week, are we eager? Worn out? Ready? Focused? Humbled? What feelings are you experiencing? Are you looking for ways in which God is revealing Himself to you? I can get so caught up in the mundane and busyness of life, that I forget to do this. And then I go to bed wondering, what have I missed? My hope is that this week, we can all find time, moments, and ways that God is revealing Himself to us. May we not lose sight!
Preparations aside, we’ve been able to enjoy quality time with family, which is filled with one earthly blessing after another.
Mazy and I visited our town’s museum with my parents:
We headed down to St. Joseph (our old stomping grounds!) and met Dan’s family at a local Bob Evan’s, which was a great central meeting place for us all! We couldn’t help but stop by the beach while there! This girl ALWAYS gravitates towards water, no matter how cold it is:
It was a TAD chilly (sorry Dan)…
Gingerbread house making time:
Last, but not least, we had our youth group Christmas party, featuring white elephant gifts!
LOVE this crew!
