Around the Home
Summer is HERE! We are so grateful to get to this point in the year after what the beginning of the year brought. We were looking very forward to spending time together as a family this summer and we are already making many memories!
We started off summer with a family vacation at a cottage with Dan’s family over Memorial Day weekend. It was the most beautiful weekend here in Michigan!
Though unsure at first, Maggie eventually sat a bit more comfortably on the paddle board with Dan:
Who says you can’t tube behind a row boat?
We’ve made our way to Dutch Village a few times this year already…one of our favorite places to go:
Mazy loves’ dancing with her favorite dance partner at a friend’s wedding!
Another of our favorite spots is the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds. It holds such a special place in our heart and we are grateful we were able to go again this summer:
Mazy was even brave enough to sleep in a tent with her cousin:
I went to Ann Arbor for some blood tests and to meet with my oncologist, to ensure that we can keep this leukemia out of my body. Hopefully in a week or so, we will get the results of the intricate blood test they do, and we just PRAY that no trace will be found!
We are just so grateful for summer, for the time together as family and friends, and being able to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation!
