Around The Home
This past week, well, we have obsessedly (yes, I created a new word), watched the Olympics! We have stepped outside to enjoy the nice weather this week too, but when we can, we watch the world come together for these few weeks, and for the most part, put aside our differences, which we love! Here’s what our week looked like:
Thankfully Dan was with me on this walk, since I wouldn’t have been able to push Mazy through the snow on the sidewalk quite yet!
This girl would take 3 baths a day if I let her! Sure is a favorite time of hers as her imagination just runs wild!
It warmed up enough that the snow on the roads was clearing off, so on a walk I went with Mazy! With the dry air, it’s a bit harder to walk outside than at rehab, but it’s such good exercise that I can’t wait to keep up as it gets warmer!
We had a coupon for some free fro-yo downtown Zeeland, so there we sat in our winter coats and ate ice cream!
Mazy did not want to take a nap one day this week, so by 7:30, she was toast! Dan sure didn’t complain when this snuggle bunny wanted to cuddle!
Words can’t express how thankful I am for our little family! Waking up to those two in my life is such a gift and blessing!
And this goofy girl – the laughs I have everyday on her behalf, are countless!
Filling up my shoes quickly!
We finished painting and cleaning up the front room upstairs, so now it’s onto the middle room. Wallpaper is removed and now there is a whole lotta patching to do. This is Mazy’s toy room – can’t wait to make it a fun place for her to keep playing in!
Dan got a wig and glasses for our youth group fundraiser dinner, where we played Jeopardy. I came inside and Mazy greeted me looking like this (thanks to Dan’s help). I could NOT stop laughing! She looked so funny and she thought she was pretty funny too!
Mazy is always keeping us on our toes and keeping us young by making us laugh and laugh. So thankful for that sweet girl!
