Around The Home
Keep comin’ Spring, keep comin’! We have enjoyed being outside a handful more times this past week, which has felt so good, after a long winter! Not too much new in our corner of the world, just continuing to work on little house projects here and there and of course, watching the Olympics! I told Dan that it’ll be good that they will be done soon so that I can return to my normal housework and painting! And the book is continuing to come along! Exciting times ahead! So, this is what our average week has looked like:
Hangin’ with my sweetie!
On Wednesday, our church had their annual Pinewood Derby Race! It had been years since I had been to one and Mazy enjoyed it all the more!
Oh warmER weather! Still need to wear gloves to play in the sandbox, but boy are we itching for that warm weather to come!
Working on painting the inside of a closet upstairs! We are also working on patching spots in the middle room upstairs, that will be Mazy’s toy room. She is pretty excited that we are working on “her” rooms!
This coming week, I hope to start weening off of my coumadin (blood thinner). I have to go in for one more blood draw and I hope from there, I can start to get off of it. It’s just not a very fun med to be on at 34 years old! The longer I am on it, the more I am thankful that we chose to have a tissue valve instead of a mechanical valve, to replace my failing mitral valve!
Rehab is continuing to go well and every time I go, I become more and more thankful for the progress and the gift that rehab has been! It has given me a new energy in many ways! Can’t wait to share more about that this week!
