Adding A Burst Of Spring To Your Home
The winter months have been LONG here in the Midwest! Snow and ice in April? But, spring is finally arriving, slowly but surely, so despite the fact that we haven’t been able to enjoy fresh blooming flowers outside in their fullest quite yet, Wayfair inspired me to bring the outside in!
There is something about fresh blooming flowers that can light up any space. Oh the aroma they give and the “ahhhs” of spring! Thanks to Aldi and their beautiful and amazingly cheap bouquet of flowers, along with the few daffodils that we have blooming, I’ve been able to bring the outside in! Here are a few simple places that you can bring some spring inspiration into your home, on the cheap. Take a look:
On the counter in our bathroom, I added a simple bouquet of pinks, light purples, and vibrant reds to this space. The walls are a light green, so the contrast in colors really adds vibrancy to this room.
Putting a bouquet next to a mirror, adds even more dimension and color. As my 3-year-old daughter said, “Mommy, I like the flowers because I can see them in the mirror!”
With Easter just a few weeks ago, the front of our local church was filled with these lily beauties. We were able to take a one home, which added the perfect spring smell to our dining room! Not to mention, the white flowers paired with our white chairs and bay window, added that perfect touch. Plus, we can eventually transplant this to the outdoors!
I feel like daffodils bring the first sign of spring. No need for a large vase full of flowers to add a pop of color to an area of your home. Two simple daffodils spruced up my desk area in a simple way.
Another place to add a burst of spring to your home is on an end table in your bedroom. The smell of fresh flowers every morning sure is a great fragrance to wake up to every morning!
Last, but not least, probably one of the most common places to put a vase full of flowers is on a kitchen counter or dining room table. Here I combined two different bunches of flowers to make this large spread of blooms. On a dreary day, these are guaranteed to bring that spring feel right into your home!
