Day 26: Water Bottles
What: Water Bottle
Why: There is a lot of debate about using plastic water bottles vs. reusable bottles. To use them or not to use them? Whatever you use, it is still easy to collect and store water bottles that you don’t need – this may even be the plastic ones. Time to clear the clutter of yes, even our water bottles.
How:
1. Find all of the water bottles you have – whether reusable or not. Even those plastic ones that still may have a little water in them.
2. Think about which ones you actually use. Set those aside.
3. The ones you do not use, donate or recycle them.
It is that simple! Sometimes it takes just a prompting to go through something as simple as this – yet it still becomes an item that we often have too many of.
Confession of the Day: I personally enjoy using a reusable water bottle because you can fit a whole lot more water in them. Plastic water bottles should be recycled and I don’t like the clutter nor the cost of them; hence, a reusable water bottle. I find we have different water bottles for different purposes – kind of bothers me, but they all have their purpose, which is what we are trying to accomplish anyways, right?
Kristin, I found this post on the water bottle issue. Like you said, each type of bottle has its use, plus there are 5 of us in our house, so our bottles (and travel mugs) have multiplied. I think this is a great idea and I actually did go out and get one and I LOVE it! So slick and keeps the mess out of your cupboards! http://karensievwright.com/water-bottle-storage/
