Can I just say there is just something about family and friends that make life so much easier?
It has been SO wonderful having my parents out here these past few days (and this weekend). Going home this past weekend made us realize how much we love our families, yet we come back out to Minnesota, see people we know in various places, and it feels like home again. I still have to chuckle because I still do not know my way around Willmar and for those who live in or near Willmar are fully aware that it is not that big of a town! Having family out here while adjusting back to life in Minnesota has been a good transition. When we stepped back into our house Wednesday night, it felt like home again. What a gift and what a great feeling.
We got even MORE snow last night, but thankfully the roads have cleared and I am hoping that THAT was the last snow of the year. While doing research on the area, I am getting more and more eager to explore! This weekend we are hoping to explore Alexandria and see what life is like up there. While looking at a map it looks pretty “country” out here, but there really seems to be a lot to see – as in lots of sights and sounds of the country. That is SO us! Even though the ground is covered in snow again and the lakes, well, I am not sure where they all are because they are still frozen, we know there will not be a shortage of things to do and see! Plus, we have not even been to the Mall of America yet! I know, what is wrong with us, right?
So if you know of any great places to visit in Minnesota or the nearby areas, we are so open to suggestions!
As for the vehicle update…when we got our mail Wednesday, the title for our vehicle was in it! We were rather surprised because it could’ve taken up to 3 months to get. Perfect timing once again! Now it’s time to figure out what to do…
Might want to wait a bit rather than going this weekend. Looks like we are in another winter storm watch for the weekend. It has been a really weird spring this year.
Yeah, we saw that on the weather tonight. We are hoping to head up there around 1 and leave before the storm comes (hopefully!)
