Live The Life You Want To Live
Tip #16 – What is standing between YOU and the life you WANT to be LIVING?
What clutter do you need to get rid of, so that you can live the life you desire to live? What things are you holding onto, that are holding you back? Be purposeful in everything in you own!
Kristin’s Action Plan: There were many craft projects that I wanted to accomplish. I knew I never would. Looking at them, made me stressed because I was constantly reminded of what I wasn’t doing. When I donated them, I felt so much relief – sounds odd, but it was the best choice! I hadn’t spent oodles of money on them, thankfully, but it was still a little hard. Although, I have not looked back and today, I am dedicating my time to the things that I want to, instead of being reminded of what I am not doing.
Fabulous idea to purge those craft supplies! Seeing them can be a huge disappointment.
I need to try to let go of "sentimental things". There are many things I just can't let go of because of who gave them to me, etc. However, the majority of them are in boxes I never open up and look in. It's the toughest area for me to organize.
Wishing you a lovely day.

I love what you shared here. I too just decided to dump some craft / scrapbooking projects and I feel so much better. It is OK to change our minds and take things off of the "To Do List!"
Thank you! Ah, doesn't it just feel so good to clear out?! I like what you said that it IS okay to change our minds – it just helps us get closer to the people we want to be! Thanks for the comment!
I completely relate. We have a shop… You tend to hold onto things that you MAY be able to use. One day we decided to clean house and it felt great. We threw away things that we NEVER would use… UN-cluttering our lives!
I bet having a shop makes it that much more difficult to keep the clutter OUT! I love hearing personal decluttering stories because we all (I feel) have some decluttering to do – the type of level might be different, but you are so right UN-cluttering our lives! Thanks for sharing!
