Paper bags – seems like a “thing” of the past, doesn’t it?

Grocery stores today, instead of asking if you want paper or plastic, go straight to plastic, unless you ask specifically. Unfortunately, there are some stores that don’t even have paper bags anymore. I have found one grocery store recently that offers every time, which I appreciate because of the very reasons below:

1. Spice up your envelopes by making them out of a paper bag

2. Use paper bags as storage for newspapers that you will eventually donate

3. Make popcorn! Put popcorn in bag, fold, and microwave

4. Run out of wrapping paper? Wrap your present in paper bags!

5. Cut up paper bags to use as a placemat or tablecloth

6. Keep your cupboards and drawers clean by lining them with cut up paper bags.

7. Use paper bags as garbage bags.

8. Ripen fruit faster by putting them in a paper bag.

9. Make a mini scrapbook using lunch-size paper bags

10. Cover your books to give them longer life
