Something we often keep stocked in our pantries – mainly just for cooking/baking. Can you really use wax paper for anything else?
You bet! You will want to make sure you always keep wax paper in stock!
1. Wrap your cheese in wax paper so that it lasts longer, then wrap in foil.
2. Use wax paper as a separator for food items such as cheese, meat, cookies, etc.
3. Cutting up meat on your cutting board? Save the board by lining it with a few sheets of wax paper.
4. Does snow get stuck on your shovel when shoveling? Rub some wax paper on it and the snow should come right off
5. Make your snow sled go faster by rubbing the bottom of it with wax paper
6. Clean your garden tools – loosens dirt and puts a “coating” on your tools so that dirt falls off easily and prevents them from rusting.
7. Line your cookie sheets with wax paper when making chocolate pretzels or chocolate covered anything!
8. Line your drawers or cupboards with wax paper
9. Keep your candles in wax paper to prevent the colors from running when storing them.
10. Clean off your can opener by “twisting” in some wax paper.
