Today is the last day in the “Forgetting To Declutter” series! My hope is that those areas in your home that you may easily forget about, are now decluttered and organized! I have one more area that may be easy to neglect. You may not necessary “forget” about it because you may frequent this area…
1. Build something. There is a creative side that comes out when you can build. Build with blocks. Magnatiles. Letter blocks. Boxes. Legos. Sticks. Tents. Anything! 2. Eat together. We always try to eat our meals together because it is during those times that we often have our best conversations. I find myself laughing more…
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, blogs. Vacations, kids, houses, cars, everyday life. I like to follow it all too. The older I get, the more I realize that we are built for community, authenticity, and relationships. All things we often desire, but when we look around us, we just don’t feel worthy. We don’t feel honest enough….
I love “family” meals. Granted it is just the two of us, my husband and I, but I will forever love sitting in the peace and quiet over mealtime. No phones. No tv. No interruptions. You see I specifically didn’t say a “nice” meal because sometimes our meals consist of tuna fish sandwiches. Or leftovers…
After moving a year and a half ago, and having {most} of our boxes unpacked, I wondered if we could find a place for everything. Being in a new home, with different storage spaces and places, I was not sure how this would go. Believe it or not, there are not many closets, outside of…

Great post. I have an iPad which I love. It replaced my laptop when it died. I work at home & my job provides the work PC. I have a cell phone but don't have a smartphone. I'm tethered to my computer all day so I like being away from it when I'm out & about.
I like this! Being able to step away IS a beautiful thing!
I love having a smartphone and it would be hard to live without once you get used to it but it is a convenience not a necessity. I moved up from a tracfone a year ago but still don't have a regular data plan. I mostly rely on wifi. So much is spent on expensive plans and high end phones.
The biggest negative I see is the distraction they are when with other people. Way too easy to keep checking phones or messing with them instead of spending time together.
That is exactly how I feel – once you get one, it would be hard to go back :). I agree too, that they can be a distraction – but I realize that even with my tracfone, I can easily pick it up and text someone, when with other people. It's a reality check and it's always something to think about! Thanks for sharing!
