Today Is Already Known To God

Today is not unknown to God. Today has never been unknown to God. So today, we trust an unknown future to a knowing God.

God has already established “this” person, for his purposes. No one can thwart it. No one can change it. Not even one state. Not even one county. Not even one vote.

May we walk through today in prayer for God’s will to be done, for our hearts to be softened by his grace and kindness, and for us to trust His unfailing and sovereign will. No matter what happens, our mission on this earth doesn’t change. Our purposes don’t change. We are here to glorify God through loving him and loving others – well. Do it well, today.

Let me end with this:

“The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” – Proverbs 16:9

May we all trust in this truth today, tomorrow, the next 4 years, and until the King comes again!
