Top 10 Tuesday: Books I WANT To Read
I have had a book list for awhile of books I’ve wanted to read. I’ve been able to read two of them, but I still have a ways to go on my list :). And of course, I see books come in daily at the bookstore that I want to read. Thankfully these are all books that we stock at the store – now I just need to take the time to read them! I would say it’s a wide variety to a certain extent, but they are all books that have caught my attention. You may be wondering about the random parenting book – you may laugh, but I enjoy reading parenting books because it helps me understand our youth group kids ten times better and understand some of the homes they may be coming from. And with my social work background, those type of books I enjoy!
1. Wierd – Craig Groeschel
2. Radical – David Platt
3. Redeeming Love – Francine Rivers
4. Forgotten God – Francis Chan
5. Who Is My Neighbor – Wayne Gordon – JUST FINISHED!
6. Erasing Hell – Francis Chan
7. Heaven – Randy Alcorn
8. Parenting With Love and Logic – Foster Cline & Jim Fay
9. Growing Up Amish – Ira Wagler – FINISHED!
10. Think – John Piper
Have you read any of these books? Let me know what your thoughts are on them if you have! Also, what books are on your list – and what books should I add to this list?
Redeeming Love is awesome! I love Francine Rivers! Last summer I read her "Her Mother's Hope" and "Her Daughter's Dream" which was an over 1000 page journey, but so good. :)I also highly recommend her "Atonement Child."
