I have used SO MANY make up removal products in my history of wearing makeup! Granted, I do not wear a lot of make up, but I wear enough, where I need to use some type of removal “system”. I want to make sure I don’t use something too abrasive, where I feel like I am taking off more than makeup – I am sure you know exactly what I am talking about!
Then I was introduced to Norwex’s Makeup Removal Cloths. I didn’t believe that ONE cloth could remove my makeup. Let alone be reusable! Well, I gave a cloth a try, and I now use them every single day!
These cloths remove all mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner! I use BLACK mascara and eyeliner (if I use it) and it takes it off without leaving a trace! It also is great for those who have oily or dry skin!
You may think that rubbing your face with a cloth may rub it raw, but it is actually a very gentle suede cloth. These cloths are actually designed FOR sensitive skin, and even those with eczema. All you do is wet it thoroughly (don’t wring out) and the suede becomes a soft cloth, washing away all signs of makeup. I will say, if you use waterproof mascara, it is harder to get off with these cloths, but usually my eye makeup remover had a hard time removing waterproof mascara as well.
Each package comes with a set of 3 cloths, so you do not need to launder often. In fact, I only wash mine once a week (depending how much make up you use) and it comes out of the washer like a brand new cloth. Also, it doesn’t get that stinky smell, even after a week. You have the upfront cost of the cloths, but I keep one in my travel bag, one in the cupboard for back-up, and one on the counter for my daily use, never having to buy another “remover” again. If you use a lot of foundation, the body cloth, which is a tad more abrasive, might do a better job at removing the foundation. The body cloths are used as more of an ultra-fine exfoliating option, and can be used to remove blackheads and acne!
After you are done using the makeup cloth, you will see all of your makeup on this cloth, but you can run it under water again, rub the cloth together, or use Norwex’s Foam Soap or Dishwashing Liquid, to remove the makeup. I typically just rub the cloth together, and it removes most of the makeup. Laundering will take care of the rest.
