Why: It is simple: why own more sheets than what we really need?
1. Find all of the sheets you have tucked away in drawers and think about the ones that are currently on beds.
2. The sheets in the drawer and on your beds – do they have holes in them? Are they worn? Do you have another set that will work instead of them just sitting in the drawer unused?
3. Decide if you have more sheet sets than you need. If you have too many and are in good enough shape to donate them, then do it.
4. I will say that old sheets can be repurposed: such as drop clothes for painting, rags, good for air mattresses (can double them up).
Confession of the Day: I know this one is so simple and really, come on, sheets? I have realized that it is some of the things that we least expect, that we have too many of. In this 100 days of less, I truly hope that you are able to go through the things that you least expect and find that you have too much of it. Be intentional. Dig through the things you would least expect you’d have to purge of so that we can continue to live with less.
What do you do with old sheets?
