2 Ways I Get Paid to Shop
If you know me, I am NOT a shopper. Never have been. I find it’s SO easy to buy something for the simple reason of instant gratification, versus actually needing it, hence why I don’t shop much.
In reality though, going to the store or buying something online, is inevitable. Toilet paper, computer paper. Apples. Cereal. Gifts. Clothes. Today, it was pony tail holders for our daughter. Spending really is inevitable.
With Christmas just right around the corner, I like to find as many ways as I can to save money, not in the sense of buying low-quality items, but being able to save money on items that I would’ve bought regardless. And there are 2 places that I have used frequently over the past few weeks, that have saved me dollar after dollar. Both having taken very minimal work.
The first – FETCH REWARDS. My sister-in-law told me about this app a few weeks ago and even though I’m not a huge “store” shopper, simply taking a pic of the receipts I do have, has already saved me almost $10! From 2 simple receipts that took me 15 seconds to scan. It’s a free app that turns your grocery receipts into rewards. Just scan any grocery receipt and earn points. No need to enter codes or completing tasks – just simply scan your grocery receipt (take a pic of it), and get rewarded! If you use my referral code XV713 during sign-up, you’ll get 2,000 bonus points, which equals $2.00, JUST for simply starting! And when you scan your first receipt, you will also get additional bonus points! Download the app and enter the code XV713 to start earning money simply by getting groceries!
The second way I can save money is through Rakuten. I use this website ANYTIME I buy something online, which is OFTEN b/c like I said, I’m not a store shopper. They are items I am going to be buying anyways, and I’m able to save a few extra dollars on each purchase I make. When you join and make your first purchase through this website, you will get $10 in what they call “a big fat check.” Just go to Rakuten before heading to the store online you are going to purchase from. For instance, if I’m going to buy something from the Children’s Place, I will go to Rakuten, search for Children’s Place, click on Shop Now, and it’ll take me to the CP website and I will shop as normal with no extra codes needed. But meanwhile, I will earn 1.5% cash back, from a store I was going to get leggings for Mazy from anyways. And there are HUNDREDS of stores and websites that use Rakuten! Not only this, but for those of you who use TRIP, not only can you get “cash back” through this website, but you can still use any form of payment – credit cards and gift cards – and you’ll still earn the cash back. Over the year, I have saved almost $50 – and that’s coming from someone who is not quick to spend a buck. This proves it really adds up! SIGN UP TODAY and after making your first purchase through Rakuten, you’ll get $10!
These are just 2 simple ways that I can save money on almost every purchase I make. And the biggest bonus is that it takes me only seconds to do so! So this Christmas season, save even more by using these two simple ways to save!
